The German government’s crisis team has decided to further raise the crisis level for foreign representations in Beirut, Ramallah and Tel Aviv due to the escalation in the Middle East, the Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday.

Family members of posted workers in these representations must leave the service location and travel to a safe place in the region or return to Germany, the report said.

In addition, seconded staff will be reduced, the report said, but care will be taken to “guarantee the comprehensive operational capacity of the three foreign representations.”
