According to Iranian media reports, a brigadier general of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was among those killed in Israeli attacks on a headquarters of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
Multiple Iranian news outlets reported on Saturday that Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan, the IRGC’s deputy chief of operations, was martyred alongside Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said Nasrallah and senior Hezbollah commanders were killed on Friday in airstrikes on a residential complex in a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut.
