Gazans are increasingly critical of Hamas as Israel’s deadly military campaign in the Gaza Strip continues.

In a video seen by the BBC, filmed outside a hospital filled with wounded Palestinians, a Gazan man covered in blood screams: “I’m an academic doctor. I’ve had a good life, but we have a filthy (Hamas) leadership. They’ve gotten used to our bloodshed, God curse them! They’re scum!”
“I am one of you,” he added, “but you are a cowardly people. We could have prevented this attack!”
“They should have predicted Israel’s reaction and thought about what would happen to the 2.3 million Gazans who have nowhere safe to go,” said one Gaza resident. Nassim told the FT.
“They (Hamas) should have limited themselves to military targets,” he added.
