Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russian occupation forces in the eastern Donetsk region of attacking vehicles belonging to the International Red Cross.

“Unfortunately, three people were killed in this Russian attack,” Zelensky wrote on X. Two people were injured in the attack, he said.

The Ukrainian president also published a photo showing a burning Red Cross truck.

“In this war everything is perfectly clear: Russia sows evil, Ukraine defends life,” Zelensky wrote.

“The world must respond decisively and with principles. Countries and international organizations cannot remain indifferent. Only together can the world force Russia to stop this terror and let Moscow seek peace.”

In a separate post on X, Zelensky also accused Russia of attacking a civilian cargo ship carrying wheat en route to Egypt. The ship was in the Black Sea overnight after leaving Ukrainian waters.

“Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there were no casualties,” Zelensky wrote in English.

It was not possible to independently verify the claims.
