Toyoda Gosei acquired the Neemrana factory of its subsidiary Toyoda Gosei Uno Minda India Pvt. Ltd. to meet the growing demand for airbags with stricter safety regulations in India.
Production in the new building started in September 2024.

In India, vehicles are increasingly equipped with airbags in frontal collisions. With the stricter assessment of vehicle crash safety, side airbags and curtain airbags are expected to be widely installed for side impact protection. As part of establishing a development and production network to meet the needs of car manufacturers, Toyoda Gosei has expanded the Neemrana factory.
At an opening ceremony, Katsumi Saito, President of Toyoda Gosei, explained the company’s ambitions for India: “By supplying airbags produced in this new facility, we will meet the needs of car manufacturers while contributing to safer Indian mobility .”
