(Bloomberg) — Thailand’s new Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said she has finalized the composition of her Cabinet and expects to submit the ministerial appointments to the royal family for approval this week.

After a lengthy process, all candidates have been screened and the list of 35 ministers will be submitted this week, Paetongtarn told reporters on Monday.

The new coalition government led by Paetongtarn’s Pheu Thai Party is expected to officially take office in mid-September, caretaker Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said earlier.
Paetongtarn became prime minister on August 16 after Pheu Thai’s Srettha Thavisin was disqualified by a court ruling for ethics violations after less than a year in power.
