CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD)—A global supplier of shipping containers has announced a new headquarters in Charleston, allowing the company to expand its operations and create new jobs in the region.
Eveon Containers, founded in the Netherlands, is expanding its operations in North America and is now establishing itself in the US and Canada.
Located in the Cigar Factory at 701 East Bay Street, the new office will house marketing and customer service teams focused on growing Eveon’s online platform. The expansion is expected to create 25 new jobs over the next five years.
“During our multi-city tour, Charleston stood out for the strategic importance of its port, emerging digital corridor and distinctive charm. These factors were instrumental in establishing our base and launching our headquarters here. As part of our expansion, we relocated our customer service team from the Northeast to Charleston to ensure that the Southern hospitality that is the hallmark of the Lowcountry was delivered to our customers across the country,” said Eveon CEO Aad Storm.
