Russian warlord hates Elon Musk over cybertruck bricking

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has not yet introduced himself another enemyOnly this time it’s not a politician or a celebrity, but a warlord in Russia. Ramzan Kadyrov criticized Musk on social media after he said the man was Cybertruck which he used during combat missions.

A Cybertruck owner is surprised at how much people hate his vehicle.

Kadyrov famously mounted a .50 caliber machine gun on the bed of his Teslashocking and entertaining people all over the world. As an ally of Valdimir Putin, the act angered many as Musk denied donating the all-electric pickup to the Chechen warlord.

But this sort of thing is par for the course for Kadyrov, who likes to use social media to post bombastic, ridiculous things for attention. The man acts a bit like a TikTok thirst trap girl, only with bloodthirsty troops at his disposal and a reputation for ruthless, crushing rule in Chechnya since 2007, which is an odd combination.

According to Google Translate, Kadyrov posted the following on Telegram:

“Elon Musk did something ugly.

He gives expensive gifts from the heart, then turns them off remotely.

You probably remember his gift – a Cybertruck, which we equipped with a machine gun and sent to the Northern Military District. The vehicle coped well with combat missions. It showed maneuverability and good protection of the crew. So, Musk recently disabled the Cybertruck remotely. This is not manly. I had to drag the iron horse. What do you mean, Elon? Is this how it’s done?”

Some have questioned whether Kadyrov actually used the Cybertruck in missions or if this is just another one of his over-the-top stunts to get attention. With the mounted machine gun and loaded ammunition, it would add a huge amount of weight to the vehicle, which would quickly reduce its range. In most combat zones, Tesla Superchargers are few to none.

The other big question is how the warlord got a hold of a Cybertruck in the first place. US sanctions prevent them from being sold in Russia, so that means a third party must have sold the vehicle to Kadyrov. And that may be why it was blocked remotely, if the story is true.

After all, when you’re dealing with a Russian warlord, you can expect a mixture of deceit and more deceit.
