Rare Lamborghini Veneno Coupé listed for $13.9 million in Montreal

An ultra-rare Lamborghini Veneno coupe, one of only three sold to the public, is listed for sale at a dealer in Montreal, Canada, for $13.9 million. Finished in a special gray with red accents and with less than 1,000 miles on the odometer, this model represents a virtually flawless example of Lamborghinis Celebrating the 50th anniversary.

The Lamborghini Veneno was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a road-legal racing prototype designed to push the boundaries of automotive engineering and aerodynamics. Built to commemorate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, the Veneno is based on the Aventador, but takes its design and performance to another level. With its sharp angles, sculpted lines and prominent aerodynamic features, the Veneno is designed for maximum downforce and speed. The aggressive front fascia features large air intakes and an angular hood, while the rear features a huge three-way adjustable wing and four exhaust tips, all made from lightweight carbon fiber.

Under the hood, the Veneno is powered by an upgraded version of the Aventador’s 6.5-liter V12 engine. Lamborghini modified the engine with larger air intakes and a unique exhaust system, increasing power to 740 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. With this power, the Veneno can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h, making it one of the fastest road cars of its time.

Given its rarity, the $13.9 million price tag may seem high, but it is consistent with the car’s exclusivity and historical value. Originally priced at over $4 million when new, the Veneno coupe’s value has continued to rise thanks to its limited production and iconic status. Lamborghini produced only 13 Veneno units, four of which were coupes. Of these, only three were made available for private purchase, while the fourth remained in the Lamborghini Museum.

This is not the first time a Veneno has hit the market; in 2016, another coupe was offered for $11 million, and recently a Veneno Roadster set a record with $6 million in sales through SBX Cars. Whether this particular coupe will find a buyer for the asking price remains to be seen, but its presence alone highlights the Veneno’s status as a highly coveted collector’s item.

The Lamborghini Veneno is a testament to the brand’s legacy, combining futuristic design with track-inspired performance. For those seeking one of the most exclusive Lamborghinis ever built, this rare opportunity is one that may not arise again.
