A woman called police in southern Germany on Sunday evening after her neighbors stole a pork roast from her balcony, police said.
The woman had seen the couple taking the vacuum-packed meat from her balcony in the town of Mittenwald, in the Bavarian Alps.
When they arrived at the apartment complex, police caught the two thieves preparing some of the roast pork in their kitchen.
The rest of the meat was returned to the owner, who police said was shocked. Investigators estimate the damage to be around €25 and the couple is now facing a theft investigation.
