Train services between Paris and Germany have resumed normal services following recent arson attacks on the high-speed line in France, German railway company Deutsche Bahn reported on Saturday.
Passengers affected by cancellations and disruptions can use their tickets at a later date, the rail company said. Seat reservations are still required for trains to France.
There will still be occasional cancellations and delays on the route from Cologne via Brussels to Paris this weekend.
According to the French railway company SNCF, seven out of ten trains can run again on this route northwards, and also on the route from Paris to Brittany and the Atlantic coast, which were also hit by the attacks.
However, delays of one to two hours are still expected.
Arsonists planted firebombs at several key locations on France’s high-speed rail network in the early hours of Friday morning.
Shortly before the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris, train traffic was severely disrupted. The opening ceremony itself, however, was not affected much.
