GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT) — Popular YouTuber Mr.Beast He focused his philanthropic efforts on Jamaica, El Salvador and Argentina, where he gave away 100 homes to families in need.
One family lives on top of a mountain in Jamaica was in great need because the house they were living in was unstable and could collapse on them at any moment. The dilapidated, unstable house was replaced with a brand new house. The new house was furnished and had a tank for running water and electricity.
Another Jamaican woman’s home was unsafe because the roof flooded every time it rained. In El Salvador, floods from one river destroy hundreds of homes every year due to flash floods during the rainy season. MrBeast and his crew built rows of houses in a safer area, a few kilometers away. Families wore blindfolds ahead of the big unveiling of their new homes.
In that same community in El Salvador, MrBeast and his team built a soccer field for all the neighborhood kids to play on, and of course, handed out Feastables bars to them too.
The crew then went to Argentina and Mexico to build homes for people in communities in need. From there, Colombia was the destination to build homes for families whose homes had been destroyed by a tornado.
Another family in Colombia’s only means of transportation broke down. So next door, the crew gifted them a brand new motorcycle to get around with. Bicycles were also given to all the children in that village.
