Molinaro honoring Vietnam War veterans in Cortland County

CORTLAND COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Congressman Marc Molinaro honors the sacrifices made by Vietnam War veterans in Cortland County as he once again hosts a pinning ceremony.

Molinaro announced Wednesday that he will host another pinning ceremony on Oct. 21 to recognize the veteran’s service.

Molinaro previously held ceremonies in Greene, Broome and Sullivan counties.

This event is open to all Vietnam War veterans, their families and anyone who would like to pay respect to our veterans.

To be recognized, veterans or their family members must apply here or call Molinaro’s Leeds Office at (518) 625-2100 to register.

“These committal ceremonies are a way to express our utmost gratitude and appreciation for our Vietnam War veterans who sacrificed so much to protect our nation. We thank them and their families for their service and dedication to our country,” Molinaro said.

The event will be held from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Osco Robinson American Legion Hall, located at 1134 US Highway 11 in Marathon.
