German airline Lufthansa has cancelled further flights to the Middle East for safety reasons, the company announced in Frankfurt on Monday.
Connections to Israel and Tehran have been suspended for another four days, until Monday, August 12.
Flights to the Lebanese capital Beirut had already been suspended for that period.
Flights to Amman in Jordan and Erbil in northern Iraq were initially cancelled until Wednesday, August 7.
Until then, airlines of the Lufthansa Group will also not use the airspace over Iraq and Iran.
The cancellations come amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran.
Lufthansa has offered travelers free rebookings. Free cancellations are also possible for bookings made up to and including August 20.
The flight ban applies to all airlines of the Group, including cargo and passenger aircraft.
In addition to the core company, the Lufthansa Group also consists of Swiss, Austrian, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings.
