In honor of the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics, which kick off later this month in Paris, France, Krispy Kreme is offering three new doughnuts inspired by Parisian desserts, available starting Monday, July 15.
The limited-edition donuts are part of Krispy Kreme’s Passport to Paris Collection, which will bring “the delicious flavors of Parisian desserts to fans around the world and across America while cheering on America’s best athletes — without the need for airfare.” In addition to being available at Krispy Kreme locations and for pickup or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app and website, the collection will also be delivered fresh daily to select retailers in six-packs.
The three new flavors are as follows:
-
Crème Brulee Donut: An unglazed donut filled with crème brûlée KREME™ filling, dipped in crème brûlée caramel glaze and topped with caramelized sugar crunch.
-
Double Chocolate Éclair Donut: An unglazed donut filled with chocolate custard KREME™ filling, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with chocolate crunch pearls.
-
Raspberry & Vanilla Cream Donut: An original Glazed® donut dipped in raspberry glaze and cookie pieces and drizzled with vanilla KREME™.
“Most people can’t be in Paris to cheer on their country’s team, so we’re giving you a ‘Passport to Paris’ in the form of delicious donuts featuring Parisian dessert flavors,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer of Krispy Kreme in a press release.
In addition to the new donut flavors, Krispy Kreme is also introducing a new limited edition Crème Brûlée Latte, which can be enjoyed hot, iced, or frozen and made fresh to order. The drink features “Crème Brûlée flavors” topped with whipped cream and a caramelized sugar crunch.
The Opening Ceremony for the 2024 Summer Olympics will take place on July 26 and run through August 11. It’s unclear how long the limited-time donuts will be available, but fans of the French treats should get theirs while they can.
