At least two people were killed in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said.

Six people were also wounded in the same attack on a motorcycle in the southern Lebanon town of Juwaya.

It was not immediately clear whether the victims were members of Hezbollah.

The Israeli military initially declined to comment.

Hezbollah in Lebanon and Israel have been fighting daily gun battles since the start of the Gaza war in October.

More than 120 civilians were killed, mostly on the Lebanese side. In addition, more than 350 Hezbollah members and Israeli soldiers were killed.
