The Israeli army has freed another hostage, a 52-year-old Bedouin, held by the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas “in a complex operation in the southern Gaza Strip,” the army said Tuesday.

The man is in a “stable medical condition” and is being taken to hospital for medical checks. His family has been informed.

“No further details can be published due to the safety of our hostages, the safety of our troops and national security,” the military said in a message on its Telegram channel.
