The Israeli army has again bombed a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut. Eyewitnesses reported Tuesday that two floors of a building were destroyed.
Video footage shows large clouds of smoke in the Ghobeiry municipality in Beirut’s southern suburbs after the attack.
The Amal movement, which has ties to Hezbollah, is particularly active in this area, which is mainly inhabited by Shiites.
The Israeli military announced, without giving further details, that it had carried out a “targeted strike” in Beirut.
