Camouflaged Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Wing SpottedHyundai

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N proved to be an instant hit among car enthusiasts and quickly received rave reviews. one of the best performance EVs everThe electric N pipeline is far from complete, however, and the smartest bet is that Hyundai’s next product will be an N car based on the Ioniq6, like the RN22e concept (pictured above) was shown off by the company in 2022. Thanks to an Instagram user in South Korea, we now have a good look at what an Ioniq 6 N could look like.

The video shows a heavily camouflaged but still clearly recognizable Ioniq 6 cruising through traffic. Immediately noticeable is the shape of what appears to be a rear wing or ducktail spoiler. It seems massive by road car standards – far larger than the typical ducktail on the Ioniq 6’s rear hatch. Based on the video, the aero element should be smaller than the touring-style rear wing on the back of the RN22e concept, but not by as much as you might expect.

The wrap does an effective job of hiding most other elements of the car, but the fenders appear wider. Split five-spoke wheels sit inside, just like those on the RN22e. Perhaps most telling is the striking side skirt, which is given an orange-red hue, a feature of every Hyundai N product to date.

Given that the Ioniq 5 N has 641 hp and the conventional Ioniq 5 and 6 have the same powertrain, the Ioniq 6 N will probably deliver the same power as the hatchback. So that promises to be a sensation. And the base Ioniq sedan is $4,000 cheaper than the crossoverso hopefully the production version of the Ioniq 6 N will stay below the Ioniq 5 N’s current $66,100 starting price.
