Hezbollah said on Thursday it had launched 80 rockets at the Israeli city of Safed.
The Iran-backed group also said it fired 50 rockets at the city of Ahihud, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) west of Safed, and at military sites in northern Israel.
The Israeli army said a house in Rosh Pina, a town near Safed, was hit by a rocket. No injuries were believed to have been reported.
As of Thursday morning, the Israeli military said some 150 rockets had been launched from Lebanon, with some of the impacts reportedly setting off fires around Safed.
Israel continued its attacks on Hezbollah in southern and eastern Lebanon. An attack also hit a building south of Beirut and killed Hezbollah’s drone chief, the Israeli military said.
The Lebanese Health Ministry said dozens of people were killed in Israeli attacks on Thursday.
