German Interior Ministry satisfied with security at Euro 2024


The German Interior Ministry is satisfied with the security situation at the European Men’s Football Championship so far, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

Despite minor disruptions and fan hooligan violence on the fringes of some matches, the security concept has proven successful ahead of the last two matches in Germany, the spokesman added. The final is in Berlin on Sunday.
