(WGHP) — The rain pattern in Piedmont will continue.
A southwesterly wind from the Gulf of Mexico will bring a lot of moisture to the Piedmont. As the day warms, scattered thunderstorms will develop. Some thunderstorms or showers could produce heavy rainfall. As a result, neighborhoods and communities should be aware that flash flooding is possible. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the low 80s.
A weak front will approach the Piedmont on Thursday. Thursday could be our wettest day with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Flash flooding is possible.
On Friday you can expect scattered rain and thunderstorms with temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius.
The southwesterly wind flow from the Gulf of Mexico will begin to diminish over the weekend. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 80s. There is a 40% chance of rain.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s. Chance of rain has dropped to 20%.
Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s. Chance of rain is 20%.
