BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Jewish community of Binghamton University is mourning and reflecting on the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks on Israel, one year later, with a day of remembrance.

On October 7, BU’s Zionist Organization will hold an exhibition commemorating the attacks and the aftermath that Israel has faced since. During the exhibition, students can observe and witness the devastation of the events. The exhibition will take place throughout the day in the Mandela Room and Old Union Hall.

Following the exhibition, a vigil will be held in the Peace Quad at 6pm to honor the victims and people affected by the day.

Emotional support teams will be present at both events and available throughout the day at various locations on campus.
