In the decisive second round of the French parliamentary elections, just over one in four eligible voters had cast their vote before noon.
According to the Ministry of the Interior in Paris, turnout at noon (10 a.m. GMT) was 26.63%.
In the first round of voting a week ago, the turnout was 66.71%; at 12:00 this was 25.9%.
In the last regular parliamentary elections in 2022, the turnout in the second round around noon was 18.99%.
The last polling stations close at 8pm on Sunday.
