Police are investigating after a Labor Party office in east London was vandalized with graffiti.

The Metropolitan Police said the Labor Party office for Chingford and Woodford Green was damaged with the message “Israel lobbies out… work 4 ounces”.

Images on social media appear to show black letters spray-painted on the building’s windows, including: “British MPs for Britain, not Israel”.

The Met added that no arrests have been made.

Police said officers were called to the property in Hatch Lane shortly after 9:10am BST on Saturday and continued asking anyone with information to call police.

The graffiti has now been removed.

It comes after Faiza Shaheen, the former Labor candidate from the constituency, was banned from supporting the party after she liked a series of posts on

More than a hundred people gathered at a supermarket in Highams Park, east London, on Friday to show her support.

However, Ms Shaheen said she doesn’t think there is “a way back” for her to the party.

She also said she feels she has been the victim of a “major injustice” after not being endorsed as a Labor candidate.
