Militants in Lebanon fired some 105 rockets at targets in Israel’s Galilee region and especially at Haifa, the Israeli army said on Tuesday.

Most of the rockets were intercepted, but some also hit the outskirts of Israel’s third-largest city, the military said.

A woman suffered minor injuries to her hand from shrapnel, the Magen David Adom rescue service wrote on the X platform.

The Times of Israel newspaper described it as the largest rocket attack on the city of Haifa since Hezbollah began firing into northern Israel a year ago.

Videos published by the newspaper showed damage to houses and cars in the northern suburb of Kiryat Yam.
