GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – As the Packers kick off their 2024 season Friday night in Brazil, a Green Bay business is using its playing time to help a family in need.
Camera Corner Connecting Point, located at 529 North Monroe Ave., hosted a barbecue to raise money in support of Issac Koltz, a 21-year-old from West De Pere who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Koltz’s mother Shanna has been a loyal customer for over 20 years and teaches photography classes, so Camera Corner decided to support the Koltz family while Isaac undergoes cancer treatment.
All proceeds from the fundraisingincluding the raffle, will directly benefit the family, with prizes including two tickets to the Packers’ November 24 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Isaac’s father, Lance, said the news was painful, but the family can’t put into words how much they appreciate the community’s support.
“When we first heard he had cancer, it was a slap in the face,” Lance Koltz said. “But the support from the community, family and friends has been overwhelming.”
Lance added that the amount of people who have had similar experiences has been a huge resource for the family, especially in the beginning.

“When you come in, you’re kind of naive,” Lance Koltz said. “Until you’ve actually been through it, you just dive in and see what it’s all about. Then you realize how many people have had the experience, and they call and offer support.”
Fortunately, the family says that Issac is currently doing well and feeling well.
